I absolutely love teaching and can't imagine doing anything else. I find it both very challenging and rewarding. This is my fifth year teaching, all of which have been at GAB. I taught second grade for the first two years, followed by two years in third grade. While I enjoyed working with the older third graders, now I am back to my favorite...SECOND GRADE!!! I consider myself to be a lifelong learner and am constantly seeking new things to learn. My favorite subject is MATH! I love problem solving and working with shapes and numbers and my students often tell me their favorite subject is math at the end of the year. I have two boys who are in third grade and fifth grade at GAB. My home is also the residence of a very large and sweet German Shepherd named "Baby" and four gerbils (Pumpkin, Rocky, Jr., Pebbles, and Gibbie). I am engaged to a wonderful man who also has children, so my life will be even more exciting very soon!
